About Us:<\/strong><\/p>

Birdies is a family run bistro owned by Jenni & Dom. It first opened in 2013 and since then has grown with a bigger team, a wider selection food on the menu but the same, beautiful views of Hayle Estuary!<\/p>

Before Birdies, Dom has worked at a variety of high profile establishments that include Harrods, Raymond Blanc\u2019s Le Manoir aux Quat\u2019Saisons and Ferrari.\u00a0<\/p>

He also worked with the prestigious Salisbury group, who own gastro pubs in Buckinghamshire where he created British colonial food made with foraged ingredients and local seasonal produce.<\/p>

Consequently, he is passionate about real food and is a keen supporter of the county\u2019s smaller food producers.
He says: \u201cCornwall has a fantastic variety of local seasonal ingredients that are full of flavour.
Our local suppliers, from dairy through to game, are excellent and it\u2019s a joy to create menus using their produce.\u201d<\/p>
